Work at home agents - Applications Process

Posted on June 20th, 2008 in Legit Work At Home Jobs by Mike Peacock

The “Work at home agents” application process starts with the application and resume. Matching your talents and expertise is crucial in the hiring stages. Selecting the “right job” for you will be the first thing on your to do list. Then your resume needs to shine with all of your experience and special fields of knowledge. Make sure you are qualified for the position to be applied for.

If your applying for a position as a customer service rep to work at home, that company wants to know how much experience you have in dealing with customers, complaints, resolutions, etc. The field is pretty wide for this area. If you have worked anywhere that required you to deal with the public, that’s customer service. Retail shops, fast food, service techs, etc.

Make yourself stand out above all the other applicants by stressing your strong points. Your resume doesn’t need to be a book, just a page is fine. Just imagine what they go through. Mine were all short and to the point. I got hired by 4 companies in the last year, so you can too. Just think if you had 200 resumes to look at today, which ones would you pick to fill 20 spots?

Now as harsh as the amount of apps daily sounds, be patient. With so many wanting a real work at home job, it takes some time to get noticed with some companies. Just keep checking back with them to see where you stand. They also want to be assured you will actually take a work at home job serious. For most people it sounds like a dream come true. And it is. But you will have to prove that you will treat it just like any other job, and work with respect to the company and it’s customers. Proper equipment and work space, and a quiet office is definitely required for most cs jobs.

After over a year as a work at home agent, I will say that the freedom to make your own schedule to work has to be the greatest benefit outside of saving gas and more time with your family. I made minimum wage to over $18 per hour working at home. Lol Who else wants to work at home?

Everybody I think! So get started, download the list with over 45 companies that hire work at home agents.

1st, you download the company list. The company names are “clickable” and takes you to their site. You apply and send your resume to the companies you choose. They will reply to your email used when applying. Some of the companies may take a while to respond as they get numerous applications daily. Just be patient.
